BEST - 21st Century Programs
 
During the 2010-2011 school year BGCBC and Brazosport ISD will continue the BEST (Better Educating Student for Tomorrow) after-school program at four BISD schools and the Freeport Branch. Funded by a Texas Education Agency 21st Century Community Learning Center grant, these five sites will provide after-school academic and enrichment activities to targeted youth on campus attending TW Ogg Elementary, Madge Griffith Elementary, Gladys Polk Elementary and Lanier Middle Schools.  Targeted students at OA Fleming, Jane Long and Velasco Elementary Schools in Freeport with be bussed to the Freeport Branch for programming.  The BEST program will also include a summer camp during the month of June and several adult continuing education opportunities.
 
All three forms below must be downloaded, completed and either faxed to 979-373-9665 or turned into our office at 202 West First Street in Freeport for enrollment.  Parents will be called and notified when their students have been enrolled and can attend BEST programming.
