How You Can Help
![]() ~ A letter from Chief Professional Officer, Fay Beard ~
In our community, today's young people face life-threatening challenges on a daily basis -- substance abuse, neglect, teen pregnancy, poverty -- the list is far too long. If our youth are to grow up and become productive citizens of society -- often if they are to grow up at all -- they need a place where they can be just kids. They need caring adults to help them develop the skills and self-confidence to say "no" to dangerous pastimes. Boys & Girls Club of Brazoria County offers that -- and much more. Boys & Girls Club of Brazoria County serves thousands of young people ages 6-18 every year. Our comprehensive youth development programs and services provide young people with the skills to overcome their challenges and become responsible citizens and leaders…all for just $5 per year. For as little as $20 a month, you can help me invest in the future of our community’s youth. In these uncertain times, our “One Campaign" offers you a guaranteed investment that allows you to make a difference. If you can’t afford that, you can make a donation in the amount of your choosing as an investment to help provide necessary programs and services to our youth. Your tax-deductible investment in the Boys & Girls Club of Brazoria County helps guarantee a strong future for our young people and our community. I invite you to invest in the future. The choice is yours, but the return on investment will be shared by everyone -- especially the children who represent America's future. If you have questions or would like to make a donation, please call 979-373-9668 or email fbeard@bgcbc.com. You may also click here to submit your donation electronically using our secure donation site. Best regards,
Fay Beard
Executive Director
P.S. In its latest "Philanthropy 400" report, The Chronicle of Philanthropy ranked Boys & Girls Clubs #1 among youth organizations for the ninth consecutive year based on efficient use of donor dollars. Forbes, SmartMoney, Newsweek and U.S. News & World Report have all ranked Boys & Girls Clubs among the top charitable organizations in America based on cost-effective use of donor dollars. And for the last two years, Worth magazine ranked Boys & Girls Clubs as one of America’s top one hundred charities, based on financial efficiency, strength of reputation, and program effectiveness. How can you go wrong investing with us?
